into Turin
Turin (Torino) international airport is just one hour away by
car and is served by many airlines including low cost flights from Ryanair from London
Stansted (twice each day), EasyJet from Luton (daily) and British Airways
from London Gatwick (daily).
Flights are also available
from many British regional airports, via Paris with Air
France, via Frankfurt with Lufthansa and via Amsterdam with KLM.

Chambery airport is
within easy reach of Sauze d'Oulx. With flights
arriving during the ski season from 9 different UK airports
(Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Leeds Bradford, Manchester,
Newcastle, Norwich and Southampton), it makes good sense for some
people to arrive at Chambery.

The nearest
railway station is Oulx,
which is about
7 kms down the
mountain from Sauze. From the station you can take a taxi or a local bus.
The Paris to Rome Eurostar train stops at Oulx and takes about 4
hours 30 mins from Paris.
It is also possible to get trains from all over
Italy to Oulx, bringing Milan, Genoa,
Bergamo and many other cities within easy reach.
By car -
self-drive ski holidays / self-drive snowboard holidays
Only 10 minutes from the A32 autostrada (motorway) and just over
the French/Italian border at the Italian end of the Frejus road tunnel, Sauze is as close
to English Channel crossings as many of the French resorts. Depending on how you drive it will take between 9 and 11
hours from Calais. Many claim to have done it in less! It
is Motorway all the way.
