Turin Airport - Italy

Turin airport remains the main gateway for Flexible Breaks customers as it is very close to the ski resorts of Montgenèvre in France and Sauze d'Oulx in Italy.  There are 5 direct scheduled flights from the UK every day during the ski season with extras on Saturday.  For information on which airlines fly to Turin and where they fly from, go to our flights news page.  Our free transfer service meets 12 arriving and 12 departing flights per week at Turin, giving customers great flexibility.  See our airport transfers page for full details.  We can of course help you arrange none standard chargeable transfers.

On arrival in Turin,  you should collect your baggage and then proceed to the arrivals hall.  Turn to your LEFT toward the Autogrill (see photo above).  The Flexible Breaks transfer driver or representative will be in that area at the time you are due to be picked up.   They will be holding a white board showing the company logo and the name of the resort he/she is going to (see photo above).  Simply let them know that you are travelling with them and the name of your Party Leader. If you arrive early do not panic, the driver or representative will come to meet you in this area.

As you leave baggage reclaim it is common to be accosted by Alsatian dogs.  Don't panic, they will not hurt you, they are looking for people carrying illegal substances.  Although we are confident none of our customers would risk doing this, should someone booked on your transfer be picked out by the dogs and subsequently delayed by the police, it is our policy that the transfer will not wait for them.

There are cash machines in the arrivals hall where you can get Euro cash using most cash or credit cards.  There are also toilets but it is best to use the ones in the baggage hall whilst you are waiting for the bags to arrive as this will save time.  The transfer can then leave as soon as everyone is through.

Chambery Airport - Savoie, France

Chambery airport is very small which is great in many ways.  You step off the tarmac to passport control, and then 5 metres more to the baggage reclaim which is in the main arrivals hall.

The Flexible Breaks transfer driver or representative will meet you to the right of the carousel towards the exit and will be holding a white board showing the company logo and the name of resort he/she is going to (see photo above).  Simply let them know that you are travelling with them and the name of your Party Leader.  If you arrive early do not panic, the driver or representative will come to meet you in this area.

There are toilets by the carousel, and also a cash machine where you can get Euro cash using most cash or credit cards.
